Finally the jacket is finished!! Wooo! I almost gave up on it today because the sleeves just did not like me, but I persevered and got it done. This jacket really doesn't like me :( It was all smooth sailing til the stupid red bits, and then it decided to get funky and not work with me! I spent about an hour pinning the red stuff down, making sure it was sitting nice and flat. Then I realised it was way too thick!! argh! Unfortunately didn't get the wool cut out last night so I did that first thing this morning. Guess how much fabric is left over? 3.5m!! ARGH! Though that's partially my fault as I didn't realise the fabric was actually around 62 inches wide, where the pattern calls for 45 inch wide fabric. hmmm oops! So I jsut spent the last 3 hours (and 3 episodes of SG:A) cutting out the paper pattern. Blargh! I decided to just cut everything out as it would have taken ages for my to go through and find all the bits and just cut them out.
